Book early for December
The first three Fridays and Saturdays of December are the busiest nights of the year for party transportation. Vans and SUVs book out weeks ahead, and rideshare prices surge late at night. Lock in vehicles as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
Pick the right vehicles
For up to six guests, a luxury SUV is simple and comfortable. For larger groups, a Sprinter van keeps the team together: our Jet Sprinter seats 7, the Executive 13 and the Luxury 14. Big parties often combine Sprinters for the group with a sedan for executives or VIP guests. See our luxury Sprinter rental page.
Plan the timing
Set one pickup point and time for each vehicle, such as the office lobby at 6 PM. Send guests the details in advance. For the ride home, book staggered departures, for example 10 PM, 11 PM and midnight, so early leavers are not stuck waiting.
Get everyone home safely
A booked ride home is the easiest way to make sure nobody drives after the party. Many companies offer guests a car home to Long Island, New Jersey or Westchester. Collect addresses beforehand and group guests going the same way.
Parties on Long Island
Long Island venues, from Garden City hotels to North Shore estates and Huntington restaurants, are spread out with limited parking. Group transport from a central meeting point or a train station keeps it simple. See our Long Island car service.
Manhattan venues and traffic
Midtown traffic in December is heavy, especially near Rockefeller Center, Fifth Avenue and the theater district. Add 20 to 30 minutes to the usual travel time and avoid pickups right on the busiest blocks. Your chauffeur will suggest a nearby side street. Want to make a night of it? Groups often add a drive past the holiday displays before or after the party with our Christmas lights tour.
Out-of-town guests and clients
If clients fly in for the party, add airport pickups and hotel transfers to the same booking. Chauffeurs track flights, so a late arrival does not cost them the evening. See our JFK and LaGuardia car service pages.
